Port Burwell

Located on the north shore of Lake Erie, Port Burwell, known as the “Jewel of Erie’s North Shore”, really knows how to live it up! Home to Port Burwell Provincial Park, a Marine Museum and historic Lighthouse, two marinas, a BLUE FLAG designated main beach, Port Burwell really is a gem. The village is located half way between Detroit and Buffalo at the mouth of the Big Otter Creek. The permanent population of Port Burwell is just over 1,000 and the village is pleasantly quiet during the off-season. Popular events like the famous Edison Fest and the Straffordville Watermelon Fest offer tons of family fun in the area.
