MistyGlen Creamery

MistyGlen Creamery is a family-run business with deep roots in Elgin County, dating back to the original Pettit Homestead of 1816. Over the years, dairy farming has become an integral part of the Pettit family legacy, beginning with hand-milking Jersey cows and evolving into a modern operation with the introduction of robotic milking in 2012. After facing challenges, including two tornadoes in 2020, MistyGlen Creamery officially opened in 2022, carrying forward a commitment to producing healthy, nutritious, local food for the community.

MistyGlen Creamery specializes in non-homogenized, small-batch, vat pasteurized dairy products, offering a range of milk, chocolate milk, cheese curds, flavored cheese curds, yogurt, beef, liver, and brisket. With a strong commitment to sustainability, the farm takes great pride in the care of its animals and land, ensuring that each product reflects these values. The creamery is a perfect partner for grocery stores, restaurants, and businesses that prioritize quality, taste, and the genuine story behind their products.

In addition to their dairy offerings, MistyGlen Creamery invites visitors to book a “Moo Tour,” where you can meet the cows up close, including Jibberjabber, and learn about the farm’s practices firsthand.
