John E. Pearce Provincial Park

Located on the shores of Lake Erie, John E. Pearce Provincial Park offers visitors a 68-hectare natural retreat with exceptional birding opportunities. The park is home to the Backus Page House Museum, a beautifully restored 1850s Georgian-style house that showcases the history and culture of rural Victorian society. Explore the park’s scenic trail, which includes fifteen interpretive stops leading through a century-old hardwood forest. From the 33-meter cliff, take in stunning views of the lake, or enjoy a peaceful picnic in the shade of the forest canopy. The park also features a remarkable wetland restoration with three wetlands, a viewing platform, and a dedicated trail, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
