Iron Creek Golf and County Club

Iron Creek Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located just outside of St. Thomas, offering a scenic and tranquil setting for your special events. The clubhouse is available for weddings, business meetings, private parties, and banquets, providing versatile spaces to suit any occasion. The club’s rich history dates back to 1960, when Dr. William H. Cresswell, a local veterinarian, along with two investors, purchased the O.A. Hepburn farm for $25,000. In 1962, the course opened for its first season, with the first nine holes designed by David Ferguson, a former golf professional from Scotland and head groundskeeper at Imperial Tobacco Ltd. Aylmer Plant. The club’s historic clubhouse, originally the Royal Canadian Air Force sergeants’ building, was moved to Pleasant Valley after the RCAF training camp near Aylmer closed, and with several additions, it remains a central feature of the club today. Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate event, or private gathering, Iron Creek Golf and Country Club offers a charming, historic venue with modern amenities to make your event memorable.
