Head to Vienna to celebrate the Edison Family’s Roots in Elgin County with a day of family fun!

This event features a unique blend of activities suitable for the whole family, such as:

Opening Ceremony: 9:30 AM
Kick off the festivities with welcoming remarks from President Susan Chilcott and special dignitaries, setting the tone for a day of celebration and community spirit.

Vendors & Community Market: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Explore a variety of local artisans and community booths showcasing unique finds. A perfect opportunity to support local businesses and discover one-of-a-kind items.

Cross Saw Cutting and Nail Driving Competitions: 10:00 AM
Test your skills in these unique physical challenges! The competition will kick off with the dignitaries, and then open up to the public.

Crafts and Activities: Engage your creativity with hands-on workshops suitable for all ages. All materials are provided, and guidance is available for beginners.

  • Colouring: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Bookmark Making: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Snap Bracelet Making: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
  • Wind Chime Crafting: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Craig the Science Guy: 12:30 PM and Feathers’n Fringe Dancers: 2:00 PM
Enjoy interactive science demonstrations and vibrant dance performances that will entertain and educate attendees of all ages.

All-day Family Entertainment:

  • Face Painting & Balloon Twisting: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Bouncy Castles: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Potato Sack Races: 3:30 PM

Bike Draw and Closing Remarks: 4:00 PM
