Santa Claus is coming to the County!
Get ready for twinkling lights, festive floats, and holiday cheer as Santa Claus Parades make their way through Elgin! Enjoy music, dazzling decorations, and the warmth of community spirit as neighbors come together to welcome Santa and celebrate the season.
Aylmer Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2:00 PM
Celebrate the season with the Aylmer Santa Claus Parade, themed “Let’s Make A Snowman.” Organized by the Kinsmen Club, this festive procession runs down Main Street (Talbot Street #3), starting at Dingle Street and ending at the Lutheran Church. Bring the family and enjoy creative floats and holiday cheer!
St. Thomas Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, Nov. 22 at 6:00 PM
Don’t miss the 39th Annual Optimist Santa Claus Parade in St. Thomas! This year’s theme is “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The parade begins at Talbot Street and First Avenue and travels west along Talbot Street to Elgin Street. A festive evening filled with lights, music, and community spirit.
Dickens’ Night Parade – Friday, Nov. 28 at 7:00 PM
Kick off the newly rebranded Harbour Holly Days weekend with a beloved community favorite, the Dickens’ Night Parade in Port Stanley! The parade route will start on Francis Street, travelling to Stanley Street, to Colborne Street, to Bridge Street, to William Street, ending at the east end of Edith Cavell Boulevard.
West Lorne Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, Nov. 29 at 6:00 PM
Presented by the Optimist Club of West Lorne, this year’s parade celebrates 50 Years of Optimism with Christmas Through the Decades. After the parade, visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the West Elgin Community Health Centre and enjoy hot dogs, chili, and warm drinks served by the Optimist Club.
Springfield Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1:00 PM
Step back in time with Springfield’s Retro Christmas parade! The route starts at Catherine Street and heads west to Omemee on Ron McNeil Line. After the parade, Santa will be at the firehall for a meet-and-greet.
Dutton Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 PM
Celebrate Christmas on the Farm at Dutton’s 4th annual night parade! The route begins at Miller Road/Lions Road, continues along Miller to Currie Road, down Main Street, and ends at Shackelton Street/Currie Road. A sparkling evening of rural holiday charm.
Port Burwell Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6:00 PM
The Bayham Beachfest Committee invites you to the annual Port Burwell Santa Claus Parade! Starting at the Legion and ending at the Marine Museum, this event includes a meet-and-greet with Santa, candy bags from the Vienna Swans, and hot chocolate/cider courtesy of the Port Burwell Historical Society.
Fingal Santa Claus Parade – Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2:00 PM
Presented by the Fingal-Shedden and District Optimist Club, this year’s theme is “A Colourful Christmas.” The route circles around Fingal, starting and finishing at the Township office. After the parade, Santa will greet kids at the Fingal Church.
Belmont Santa Claus Parade – Sunday, Dec. 7 at 6:00 PM
Join Belmont for its 23rd Annual Santa Claus Parade! The route starts at Belmont Farm Supply, proceeds north along Belmont Road, and ends at Washburn Street. Support the community by bringing a new unwrapped toy and non-perishable food items for the toy and food drive.
Straffordville Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10:30 AM
Start your morning with holiday cheer at the Straffordville Santa Claus Parade! After the parade, don’t miss your chance to meet Santa for his last stop on his Elgin Christmas Parade circuit!
