Join us at the Port Burwell Periscope Playhouse for the premiere of: NETTING THE WATERSDirected by Daryl Granger

This two-hour documentary delves into the complexity of commercial fishing for smelt, pickerel, and perch along Lake Erie’s North Shore.

Join us on the fishing tugs to observe the intricate processes involved in the catch, showcasing the unpredictable  nature of fishing and the element of chance.  Utilizing drones, handheld and mounted cameras, along with underwater footage, this film takes viewers on a cinematic journey that uncovers the realities of life on the lake.

Experience the dramatic contrasts between sudden storms and tranquil waters, all set against stunning scenery.

The film shot in 2024 by a one-man crew, Daryl Granger, showcases his multifaceted talents. Daryl handled everything from cinematography and creation to writing, editing and voiceover work.
