This is not your average retirement home; Whoopee cropping up in the compost heap, some sordid gossip, unlikely friendships, and a touch of romance all rolled into a riotous romp.
This is Foster at his hilarious best with the play Doris and Ivy in the Home at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre.
Doris, a brassy retired prison guard, has just moved to Paradise Village, a retirement home in Canmore, Alberta. There she meets Ivy, a former championship skier, and this unexpected duo become fast friends. Add in the dashing Arthur, a former professor, and life might actually begin at 65!
