Canadale’s 70th Anniversary Celebration

It’s Canadale’s 70th anniversary, and… You’re invited to our Garden Party!

2025 marks our 70th anniversary of serving the wonderful community of St. Thomas and surrounding area, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! This incredible milestone is made possible by the unwavering support of our loyal customers over the years.

Get ready for a weekend of celebrations from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm:

• Giveaways! May 24th & 25th: Every customer will receive a ballot upon entering the garden centre for a chance to win a $700 Canadale Gift Card—plus, we’ll donate $700 to a local charity in your honour! We’re also giving away two bonus $70 Canadale Gift Cards, Canadale swag, balloons and more.
• Let’s eat cake! May 24th & 25th starting at 10:00 am: Celebrate with a free slice of birthday cake in our Design Gardens—our treat, while supplies last!
• Free plant to first 70 customers! May 24th & 25th: To celebrate 70 years, the first 70 customers to make a purchase on Saturday and Sunday will receive a free 4″ homegrown Little Quick Fire Hydrangea—our gift to you! One per household, while supplies last.
• Free face painting! May 24th & 25th from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm: Stop by and let the little ones enjoy a fun, creative treat—no charge! *This popular activity may have a bit of a wait, so thanks for your patience.
• Local eats! May 24th & 25th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm: Local food trucks will be on-site serving up delicious eats—perfect for a quick bite while you explore the garden centre
• London Master Gardens! May 24th & May 25th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm: London Middlesex Master Gardeners will be joining us onsite, helping answer your garden questions, including: gardening tips, eco-habitat methods, design ideas, and pests and disease solutions.
• Live, local entertainment! May 24th ONLY from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm: Enjoy the sounds of live music with Tony Morgan and Stephan Neale from Point Taken, a talented local band from Port Stanley! They’ll be bringing a lively mix of country, blues, and rock to our celebration—don’t miss it!
